EDIT: I have a new issue, when I boot I get a "reboot and select proper boot device"

Well I am in a bit of a bind, I just build my new system and I cant seem to get into the bios screen. As stated, everything seems to run for around a minute then it just restarts. All the fans are moving and everything looks good during that minute, but I cant seem to get a bios screen.

Here are my system specs:

i7 4770k
gtx 770
cx750 psu
212 evo cooler
z87 extreme 4 motherboard.

I have run basic trouble shooting steps like checking cables re installing ram etc. with little luck.

A huge thanks to anyone that can shine light on this.

just did both, no luck

Try pulling the gpu and one dimm. Use one dimm and onboard video to see if the pc will stay up. If it won't check that all of the standoffs were used and the mb not shorting to the case. Check that the io shield is not shorting out the mb. Check that the four or eight pin pci power plug is connected and you used the right cables not the six plus two.

thanks for all the responses, after reinstalling my cpu I now get a visual, but it says reboot and select proper boot device, and nothing more. Thanks for any support!
