Does cloning displays affect gameplay or overwork your GPU

My current setup has 3 monitors,

Monitor (1):a nice 1920 x 1080 23 inch
Monitor (2):a not as nice 1280 x 1024
Monitor (3):a 42 inch HDTv.

These are all attached to my GTX770.

Basically my third monitor (the tv) will only be used on special occasions. I essentially would like to clone my main monitor (1) on the tv (3) and just leave it cloned, but keep the display on (3) off (or on a different input) most of the time. Will this cloning overwork my GPU when I game on (1), even if (3) is not powered on?

It would be much more convenient for me if I could just leave them cloned and deal with changing the input on my tv when I want to access my comp screen. But I really don't want to impact my GPU performance, or stress it out.

Please let me know. Thanks,

-Adrian

Also, if anybody knows how to clone my sound output to both my TV and computer at the same time (so that I don't have to manually switch my default sound device every time I want to use my comp and my T.V.) that would be awesome. I know my PS3 can do it, so I'm hoping windows can as well!

Edit: luckily I can do this. I found the answer to this question here (near the bottom): http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-hardware/multiple-audio-output-does-not-work-in-win-7/90e25093-dd3f-4134-a4f5-5db7130b6e98

No monitor or GPU experts know if cloning affects gameplay or GPU workload (significantly)? from the research I've done it appears that it does NOT significatly impact anything to clone screens (note I am not extending games to run across multiple screens and increasing my resolution). But if anybody has experience or expertise with this, I would really appreciate more info.

Thank you!
