Hello.
I have very interesting situation: on my workplace about 99% of internet sites blocked, so i started using RDP to connect to my home server and use it for browsing and listening online radio. So, at home i have home server with winxp, and on workplace i have PC with win xp. After i connect to server by RDP, audio start stream over RDP in low quality, but after 3-5 sec it change quality to High. After i update my home server and install win7 - i found problem: after connect i have perfect quality on audio, but after 5-10-15 seconds - in downsample to low quality (very poor qualty). How can i disable downsampling and get my perfect audio quality back?

I already tried setting in gpedit.msc in server, and "audioqualitymode:i:2" in .rdp file. What can i do else?

The issue is the remote connection, not the fact that it starts to play sounds at a lower level. It's just dropping down quality to play though the connection you have. Since you are doing this without the OK of the IT department, you probably won't want to check with them about how network speeds look like on the connection, which is what you'd have to do to fix this.

Yeap, i know about connection speed - it's about 56 kbytes/s. But its enough for audio streaming. Anyway, with old win xp on server i never have this problem. But now, with win 7... i just want to disable audio down sampling, and i want to know how to.
