Laptop 780 Optimus Help?

Can I somehow disable or get rid of optimus on battery? I bought a gaming laptop to game, and not to get cut on performance for power... Im running a Sagar 8290

As I understand it Optimus is integrated in Windows 7 so the only way you can get rid of it (as far as I know) is to reinstall Windows 7. DO NOT use the Windows disc that came with the laptop since it probably will have Optimus integrated. You can download Windows 7 from the web and use the same key. I really don't get why they don't give you the option to disable it.

Try to select the 'High Performance' power plan from the battery Icon.

I have tryed that it wont even allow it on battery... Its locked down to balanced or lower. I just hate getting such little performance. I feel like it even effects when im plugged in.
