hello everyone, i have a recently bought laptop that i put an ssd+hdd into. the laptop is working fine, as is the ssd, but the hdd does strange things. i was moving files over from my desktop one night and woke up to find that my laptop no longer see's my hdd. i shut it off and when i came back home, i booted the laptop and the hdd was there, no data corruption, nothing. it happened again last night and this time the laptop still doesn't see it. normally i'd label this as hdd failure except for the fact that the files didn't corrupt, so now i'm not so sure. any ideas?
edit: i thought i should also mention that i ran hgst's diagnostic utility on the hard drive, and it passed the test with no errors. this was after the first disappearance.
