First time PC builder, advice

Hello guys, new to this forum/website so I have no idea where this thread actually belong ^_^
Anyways, as the title says, I am a new PC Builder and am going purchase my parts during next week
I came by to ask whether the build I have put together is solid.
I want to build mainly for gaming, the occasional movie, download and whatnot. I will be playing games like Tomb Raider, Planetside 2...(Ultra Settings 1920x1080)
I am completely new on this stuff, so some advice or suggestion would be awesome!

This will be a much faster and better build for gaming. Also do you need a OS ? And if SSD isn't a necessity , you can save 100 bucks.

I would be leaning towards something more along the lines of the Commentaries build.

IPS Displays are generally not favoured for gaming. Get a 2ms screen like the Asus listed above.

Any reason you need that massive HAFX case? They make a Mid Tower version, that has similar looks and might be better suited to your build. Using that Micro ATX motherboard will look better in a MID tower than the full size version too. Will also free up some money to spend in other areas.

I think you will enjoy the benefits of using an SSD. If you wanted to save a bit you could get a gtx770 which will max out most games (on that screen) and play a few at very high settings... but grab the 750W version of that PSU with the view to adding another Gtx770 in SLI down the track when games demand it.
