is this build enough for 1600x900 gaming

MY BUILD

cpu - intel g2010
mobo - gigabyte-ga-h61m-ds2
gfx card - saphire amd radeon hd 7750 ddr5
psu - corsair v450
cabinet - cm 310
monitor - dell 20 inch 1600x900
ram - 1x4 gb

is playing at 1600x900 good or should i get a full hd monitor and play at low settings??

i will be playing demanding games like crysis 3 and other future games

Sometimes people forget what it means to be a budget gamer. Your current build should be able to handle games fine on medium or low settings (depending on how demanding the game is). If you haven't built the computer yet, I would try Pentium G2020 instead of G2010 (it is actually cheaper on newegg). You can get a Radeon 7770 for $79 after MIR. And a Corsair CX 430 PSU is on sale for $19.99 all the time. Hope this helps.

Very unlikely. Your CPU is on the very weak side which is going to bottleneck any decent GPU, and speaking of that, your GPU is also on the weak side for playing games like Crysis 3, Metro 2033, and the such. If you want decent performance you need to upgrade both the CPU to something at least in the Intel 3rd Gen Core processors, or the AMD FX series. As for the graphics card, it would be best to move up to something like the GTX 760 at $250.

I would agree with the above. Look at an Intel Core i3 CPU as a minimum for a gaming system that'll have some life to it. A G2020 will work, technically, but for a bit more money you'll get a better all-round system. Also note that you need to get RAM in pairs to get it working at its full speed. If you want 4GB in your system, go for 2x2GB.

With Haswell having been released recently, if you can wait it would be worth seeing how their i3 CPUs stack up when released. The H61 chipset is S1155, which has no further upgrade path now that Haswell has moved to S1150.

As a budget gamer myself, i would say keep the current monitor and play at mid to low settings. It will not workout very good but it will work just fine. As i said i am a budget gamer myself so i am very certain that your system have life in it to play any games currently (TTBOMK). And you should milk it out till the next summer or maybe later and save all your money to get the decent system (including PSU) for your next build.

I agree with the RAM comment also, I just forgot to mention it :p lol. A pair of 2 GB sticks is going to be better then one 4 GB stick, but you really should try to get another 4 GB stick, as it's a pretty common consensus these days that you shouldn't try to game with any less then 8 GB.

thnx 4 d quick reply guys but even this build is a little bit out of my budget...i am a student and nt a heavy gamer just casual gaming at the weekends :D

also...will this pc play those games atleast on medium settings??

Even if you're gaming casually, the games you want to play (e.g. Crysis 3) will need a decent spec to run. While the system you've selected will probably run it, it may need to be on low settings. If you're happy with that then cool, but bear it in mind as a low-spec system now could be a source of future regret!

If you're adding 4GB later on, be careful. You definitely need to get two sticks initially, so 2x2GB in this instance (the cost difference between 2x2GB and 1x4GB is negligible), but RAM bought in a year may not be an exact match for the RAM you buy now. I had that problem and ended up needing to get 2x4GB sticks to upgrade from 4GB to 8GB.
