My pc has done this in the past and I sent it away for repair but they said there was no problem and it was working fine. Its not even a year old yet but, every now and again the monitor will pop up with check video cable message, the pc turns on but the same message appears, the pc will still be running fine, as I will be listening to music and when this happens the music will still be playing through my head phones... HELP IM GETTING ANNOYED NOW

Try different cables of monitor, and try the other VGA/DVI port on GPU to connect the monitor. If possible test with another monitor also.
