Is this a good motherboard? ... help

Hi guys I am going to be getting a new motherboard for my PC in the next couple of days the reason being my rig gets very hot due to the fact I only have one cooling fan because my motherboard only supports one fan. I have browsed for a lot which are compatible and offer appealing features (such as more fan headers). My CPU is an FX-6300 (AMD FX series AM3+), my case is the Corsair Carbide 300R and my current motherboard is the Asus M5A78L. The motherboard I am wanting to get is this.

What do you think, is compatible with my case and CPU ..... is there anything better for the same price? I will allso be overclocking as I have a H60 water cooler. I dont mind paying this kind of money as it is my birthday next week and I will be doing a lot of PC gaming when I get my mechanical keyboard.

Thanks guys!

Ok thanks. What motherboard would you recommend. My current MOBO does get very hot so I want a motherbaord which keeps cool and has atleast 4 fan ports.

Any of the linked ASRock AM3+ MOBO's would work where your CPU is supported, so the real question is what is the PC used for and are there any special specifications?

Examples: Multiple GPU(s), additional SATA ports including RAID, Overclocking the CPU, etc...

So my vanilla answer with no crazy OC, a run of the mill GPU and typical use or in essence bang for the buck the ASRock 970 Extreme3 (maybe the R2.0); offers 2x USB 3.0 ports but there's not a sufficient amount of User feedback on the 'newer' version.

Sorry for the late reply, MY PC will be used for gaming and overclocking my CPU. However by overclocking, I mean not insanely, my CPU would most likely be overclocked to 4.1 GHz or possibly 4.5GHz. I really do like the mobo and it has all the fan headers positioned were I desire them to be. Also my case has two USB 3.0 connectors and the cable they are attached to will be functional in this mobo.

Overall would you say it is fine for what I will be doing on it, gaming overclocking etc. I also want a mobo that keeps cool and hopefully this does. It has been rated the number one motherboard so far in 2013 on numerous websites.

Depending upon your budget either the ASRock 970 Extreme3 or Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 or maybe the ASRock 990FX Extreme9, but if you're considering 3 GPU(s), besides the fact I'd recommend an Intel solution, in that case the ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z.
