Hello, I have been doing a bunch of research on this one product for weeks now and can't seem to get one straight forward answer, does the Asus G750 Series come with Nvidia Optimus Technology? I have talked with Asus online specialists and even Nvidia specialists to find whether it does or doesn't. So far Nvidia said it does and you should see a sticker on the laptop itself, but to contact Asus and so I did. I went to best buy and saw no sticker what so ever. Asus gave me two yes's and two No's for the many times I've spoken with them. Then I did my own research on Google and found an answer, but don't know if it's reliable enough to just go with it. http://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/2013/06/03/asus-republic-of-gamers-unveils-nvidia-based-lineup/
If I could get the answer to this one question I'm sold, I really like the product and it's not too expensive for what you are getting. Most people dislike Nvidia optimus technology for some reason well I say get over it because it's there for the good.

Hey MV, I can't really say for sure, in fact I just purchased an Acer which had no information of optimus, or even the integrated card on it's specs/description, yet when I received the laptop it had the optimus sticker and of course, the feature. If you've seen the laptop in best buy, is there any chance it was turned on? Many stores usually have them already on so you can play around with them to get a feel, if you could reach the desktop it's as simple as right clicking from there..but I could be wrong. However, Nvidia saying you should see the sticker, and there not being one, seems odd. Although I do strongly believe it should come with it.

Well to be honest it may seem that way, but Nvidia made it possible to choose in the optimus options to choose whether you would like the setting to be on auto, the discrete graphics card, or Intel HD graphics. So if you want the Nvidia graphics card to always be on just choose that option. This is why I don't understand why people don't like optimus.

Well, I've not seen the bad side of it yet, but I'm new to it. I like the idea, and personally prefer it, for now anyway. I don't trust auto though! I've put the intel gfx card as my global setting, but then the Nvidia card for certain programs, works like a charm! (For now)

I don't really think it's that glitchy or buggy, but there are some people who do not seem to like it. Our G-series does not come with it, though. We wanted to take full advantage of the graphics card in our gaming units.

I was continually fed up with the AMD GPU switchable graphics in my previous HP DV7. I ended up having to configure every game individually to use the discreet GPU. At least with the G750 I know it's running on the 770M 100% of the time. No guesswork. The only thing Optimus does for you is improved battery life, and I didn't buy the G750 to run off the battery. =)

Indeed, Optimus is nothing but a headache! I had a Lenovo IdeaPad Y470 which had both the Intel HD Graphics 3000 and a GT555M but even though I set the global setting to always use the nVIDIA Graphics, some games or even MPC-HC would only use the Intel HD Graphics! Thank the lord ASUS doesn't have this Optimus bullshit
