h100i problems - fan full speed and temperatures

Hello, I have had a H100i for 1.5 months a week before, and I had to buy a new one, since the old one's pump failed and it stopped cooling (the one thats 1.5 months old). My new one looks fine, but the fans started to always run at 100%. For a week there were no problems, temperature wise, it was at 32C in the asus ai suite idle, and around 70C load. Right now, for no reason the fans always go up. So I start the pc, and in 10 minutes they are spinning 100%. The idle temperature is 37C ( I guess that might be due to the fact it is +30C outside and inside). The load temperatures are around 73C, so no problem here (even tho on some programs it shows 80-85C, i dont think thats critical, I have a 3930k, so it almost never hits 100%, usually 10-50%.

I have installed the corsair link today, and i could modify the fan speed only here, for some reason the asus settings i set stopped working or w/e. So, I have set the fan speed to custom (to go 100% when it is over 60C, and about 50% when over 50c, and like 10% the rest of the time). However, it did not take the information from the CPU heat, the H100i group showed it that its 50C, while the i7-3930k info was screaming 85C. So it remained on 500rpm out of 2500, while the cpu was burning. I had to set it to performance mode, but now it is at 2500 rpm all the time. I've also haven't noticed a difference in cpu temperatures depending on the fan speed. And the H100i pump is always at 2130 and uncontrollable.

May my previous h100i cooling break down dude to some bad settings somewhere? I did not touch anything, I just installed it, installed windows, set in fan Xpert to remain quiet and low unless the cpu goes over 50C, and left it at that.

What are your opinions? Howto eliminate that noise, and get the fans work the way they are supposed to?

I repeat, several days ago, I did not see this problem, it was always quiet when the cpu was not loaded, and if i started to actually load it, it became louder, thats the way it was. Right now, I have set it to balanced, it remains at 2000rpm and quiet enough. But it does not spin up much, due to taking the temps from the H100i temps, which obviously is fucked up.

Everything is plugged in good, i plugged it to CPUFAN2 in my Rampage IV extreme motherboard (its closer), and the USB is also plugged in.

Also my CPU is set to default overclock to 4.5ghz turbo, but always goes down to 1200 and sets the Vcore values automatically and on the fly (Some kind of Rampage IV extreme motherboard feature). Not sure if that would change anything, but thought that id mention it

Look up for the firmware of the H100i. If it's old, you should update it, it could help.

Then, why don't you make a custom curve? The LINK-temperatures seem to be wrong and if they still are after an update you can just adjust them taking the real temperatures.

Btw the pump speed is always at full load and shouldn't be changed, it's unnecessary.

Hey, thanks. How exactly can i find the version of the firmware?
