Hello comunity,

I come today asking about equating ps4 potential. I'm planning on buying a Radeon Sapphire HD 7950, replacing my current HD 7750. I have a X6 Bulldozer 3.3 Ghz and 8Gb on RAM. I ussualy play games on 720p

I'm not really expert about hardware, so i come here to hear your opinions.

Thanks so much.

Its gonna be tough on our wallets man. No loading screens. Processing power of a god damn NASA computer. I'm definitely not ready for next gen with my fricking Core 2 duo 2.4ghz and 9600gso

I'm sorry, I don't really understand the question? Are you asking if your rig is up to snuff for next gen games? The 7950 is a really good card and your processor isn't too shabby. If your only using a 720p monitor I believe you will be fine.

Thanks for the replies.

Maybe i wasn't clear about the question. The concrete question is: With my processor and RAM plus a HD 7950, ¿will i get an equivalent of a PS4~XBox One potential?

¿Anyone else? I'm about to push the "BUY" button. Please.

Spend a bit more on the CPU. Its useless gaming at that resolution and having a GPU like that and unless you ramp up the resolution you'll be bottlenecked because at that resolution CPU power is what counts. I say again.. ramp up the resolution

I came back to thank you for the answers and to tell you that i've installed a Sapphire HD 7950 3Gb Vapor-X and i'm very amazed. The most demanding test i've done to it was playing Crysis 3 on Max settings with FXAA on and it runs perfect, with some little FPS drops at the first stormy level, but nothing significant.

I expect to give a good fight to next-gen games like Watch Dogs, Assassin's Creed IV, Mad Max and else. ¿What do you think?

Thanks again.
