Ordering my next build and considering one of these two cards:
Sapphire 7950: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
EVGA 760: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Logic tells me to go with the 7950 and ebay the games for the best bang for the $

Rest of build is:
SAMSUNG DVD Burner
Rosewill R5 Black Gaming ATX Mid Tower Case
HGST Deskstar 1TB
ASRock 990FX Extreme3 AM3+ AMD 990FX
Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
CORSAIR Builder Series CX600
AMD FX-8320 Vishera
Total: $471 before 30MIR(Pretty set on above parts that's cheaper than micro center cpu/mobo bundle prices, all coming from newegg)

Last couple builds I did were a 3570k & 7870 XT and 3770k & 670 and have decided to try out the 8320 FX since I haven't touched a AMD chip since I tried the 4100 shortly after it came out.

The 760 is brand new but looks to perform similar to the 7950 and my experience with the 670 vs 7870 xt when it came to OC'ing was more pleasant with the 7870

More about : 7950 gtx 760

The GTX 760 is faster, but the HD 7950 has the AMD Never Settle Bundle. So if the games appeal to you, buy the HD 7950. Otherwise, the GTX 760 is the better choice.

Which ever is cheaper. Both are good choices. But personally I may go with a HD7950 considering AMDs all console hardware win that may cause future games slightly more optimized for Radeon GPUs. AMDs GCN architecture is really good on GPGPU tasks, so in a scenario where a lot of GPU physics is used on future game, GCN Radeon obviously shines

I would pass on the Extreme3. It only has 4 phase power. Upgrade to the Extreme9

Hmm will take that into consideration never really go for extreme overclocks and trying to get the best value I can

Is the 760 hands down faster? When I read the article on Tom's on it and looked at anandtech bench's it was better on some games and worse on others, and I assemble and sell these systems so the games are nice to toss in or ebay off
