at idle stays at 26/30, under load goes up to 70ºC something, with prime95 running it maxes on 82ºC

Your thermal paste isn't on properly or something. With that cooler you shouldn't see temps rise past 55C tops. Anything over 62C is bad for your CPU.

Check your thermal paste, I would remove it all with alcohol and a rag of some sort from both the cooler and the CPU. Then I would reapply using the "dot" method, make sure you have a very thin, even layer and secure your heatsink tightly to the CPU for maximum effectiveness.

FYI: Anything over 62C is bad on FX series...that's the thermal limit for the architecture. So we need to get your temps down quickly.

I just did all of that 8350rocks, took the cooler out, cleaned all with alcohol (cpu and cooler), used the dot method with some brand new thermal paste and its currently on 70/80ºC installing a game on steam! GG

not good.

Hmm...your software is HWMonitor? Try checking the temps in the BIOS. See if there is a discrepancy there. Also, please post your system specs so I can see your hardware. List the case and how many fans you're using as well.

EDIT: Your cooler is operating properly right? You connected the fan power plug to it so the fan is running correctly? (I know it's a simple question, but I have to ask).

8350rocks, im using HWMonitor, already used core temp and asus software from the board itself, i'll check it on bios and post it here.

I got a 500GB SataII HD
8GB DDR3 1333Mhz
Asus M5A78L-M USB3
Amd FX 8350 4.0Ghz
Geforce Gt 440 1GB DDR3

got 3 more fans on the case, with all air intake and exhaust done properly

Sorry, I missed the specs earlier...

Hmm...I don't see anything that would be contributing directly to issues...though, let me ask you this:

The GPU you have, are the heatsinks on it pointed toward or away from your CPU? (Is it exhausting hot air toward the CPU?)

Away, it blows down the case, cpu is on top of the gpu :S I dont see anything too lol i just see this damn temps!

I can't think of anything else too, but when it stays at 80ºC i put my hand just bellow the cooler and its blowing so much hot air, and i wonder, are the temps really accurate?

Have you changed any voltage settings?
Additionally, maybe you are seating the cpu cooler wrong. I have an overclocked 8350 and I have never gone above 60 degrees on socket or 50degrees on core, and that is in prime95 and ibt

well, i've already tried 2 differente coolers, and seated them 4 times, all rounding the same temps... with prime95 my cpu goes to 82ºC
