So a couple weeks ago I seen a great deal on a 660 2 gb ftw edition for 199 open box received the card had a hell of time with it sent it back for a refund. I started researching the 760 pretty heavily and after creating about 435-450 dollars for my budget I realized I didn't know what to do lol.

Basically I can afford a 770 which from what I've seen has pretty awesome performance, Or I can get a gtx 760 3 more case fans and a 120 gb corsair ssd to help with my 300gb hdd currently in my system. I'd like an opinion on what I should do as I really can't decide and it's driving me nuts. Thanks!

Go with the MSI GTX 760 if you want to just use that, it has nice cooling so you could overclock it more than non-aftermarket cooler cards would be capable of.

I personally like EVGA more because they have always passed my expectations of GPU aftermarket cooling, so try this:

First off, do you game heavily (high-maximum settings)? Do video editing?

If you do either of the above - then go for the 770. If you do casual gaming (not high settings) and just some diting here and there - Go for your 760 'combo' idea.

The 770 is a good graphics card for gaming - especially in SLI. It'll get you good frames on around 50-60 FPS.

The 760 however - doesn't handle some games too well. So with the SSD, GPU (not sure why you'd need extra fans, but anyways) and fans, you will certainly run a faster (if you move everything you use the most and your OS onto it [the SSD]) system.

I do heavy gaming and I do like to have my settings cranked up but no video editing, but I agree the ssd and 760 should give me a nice boost considering i'm upgrading from a gtx 570HD
