I have a i5 3210m and going to get a hd 7870 eGpu i just wanted to know if it would bottleneck

    What bus are you using thunderbolt or express port? An express port running at 1x pci-e speeds will bottleneck it before the cpu gets a chance too.

    Those normally use a 1x bus, the bus is going to be your bottleneck not the cpu.
