I had a Nintendo DS. It was my second gaming machine after my PS2. A thought came into mind today when I saved a document. The DS had to use some kind of technology that wasn't a mechanical hard drive, and I was wondering if it was faster than my current hard drive. My question is, does anyone know the read and write speed of whatever kind of storage they used in the DS. I am not sure if this question is stupid, but whatever.

Solution
Probably flash memory. Like in your USB drive or SD card. Flash memory can be very fast if used properly. I'm just guessing, but the read-write speed is probably around 30 - 50MB per second.
