I am 14 and I plan on building a new rig based on the a10 6800k APU.

I usually play games such as StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm
Garry's Mod 13
Left 4 Dead 2
Team Fortress 2

Not exactly the highest end game titles.

So I've had a laptop which has given out recently in which I've had for around four years, and I've played everything on low settings, 1280 x 720.

My main question is could I achieve playable games with this processor? I have a 1920 x 1080 display.

I realize this is the main problem, Starcraft. It does require good single threading which AMD is not the best at lately. I figured I could overlock the A10 6800k a bit for better performance.

I do plan on either getting dual graphics eventually or save up for something like an HD 7850.

Build I plan on:
Bitfenix Shinobi
AsRock FM2A85x Extreme6
A10 6800k (Of course)
G.Skill Sniper 2133 8GB
Rosewill Hive 550w
Samsung 840 120GB SSD
Cooler Master v6

I'd prefer to run my games on 1920 x 1080 with playable settings, but if that's not possible I could save up and get something a little better.

What is your opinion?

I'd save a few cents and get a 4-core FX, or 660, like what I have both of (4-core 650 and 6-core 660), for whatever reason there may be, would seem like a little bottle neck of the 6300, or get a 650-ti boost.
