I'm having a real tough time sifting through all these screens, but I've narrowed my focus a bit. 120HZ and all that is probably not useful seeing as I couldn't push my games to 120FPS+ without a titan or something, but with that being said my main purpose for this screen will still be gaming so a low response time and no ghosting is important. And I was going for a 23-24" 1080p, either TN or IPS, but..why are all the 1080p TN screens 24"? I thought 23" was the sweet spot for 1080p, and that seems to be the case with IPS screens as all their 24" models are 1900x1200 instead, but it seems like most of the 24" TN screens are 1920x1080. Would it be better to go for a 24" 1080p TN screen, or a 23" 1080p IPS screen?I've got a 22" 16:10 screen now so i'm unsure where to go from here.

If it matters, my graphics card will be a 760, so I don't really wanna push past 1080p 'cause I'd like to be able to run everything on higher settings.

I don't know where this in IPS use for gaming has come from of late from but unless they advance the technology, I'm not seeing it. Check the review below

I have a Dell IPS monitor upstairs and when editing photos it's the only monitor here among 12 that I would use. However, it makes only an "adequate gaming monitor". The Asus 120 Hz on the next desk, that was 40% of the IPS price tag, simply kicks its tail in gaming ..... no comparison in brightness, smoothness, and ghosting. Side by side the IPS looks "washed out" and bland. The best way I can describe it is IPS is better for "real life" ..... gaming is artistically designed to be "bigger than life" and the IPS panels simply don't bring that through.

And with a nVidia card w/ Lightboost ...... this smoothness thing is impressive
