this is my new config

cpu - intel g2020
mobo - gigabyte ga-h61m-ds2
gpu - nvidia gtx 650ti
psu - corsair 450w
ram - 1x4gb [ will add 1 more later
case - coolermaster 311

i will be playing at 1600x900 res monitor

is this gpu an overkill...??

and also will the cpu be a bottleneck with the 650ti??

if yes i will then go with an i3 3220 with 7750

i will ONLY be playing games with this pc...i hav another i5 lappie for other tasks

1)ur gpu is not overkill for ur resolution u will not max out farcry 3,crysis 3 and some other games but u will play most games at high settings
2)the cpu will not bottleneck the gpu but i will not recommend getting a dual core cpu now as more and more games are beginning to use more than 2 cores and ur cpu will struggle
if u can get fx 6300 without compromising with the gpu than u should do it otherwise go for ur current build
3)u can get a local case for saving money like zebronics they make good cases which have good air flow

which psu are u thinking about

thnx....i will upgrade my cpu when games begin to lag...lol

vs series are not good at all they are not even 80+ rated i would not buy them get corsair cx 430 instead

if i lower ma gpu...theni may be able to get an fx 4130 or an fx 4100...are dos processors worth it??
also lga 1155 or am3+ which has better upgrade options in the future??
and also will i hav a serious performance drop with hd 7770??

u should never lower ur gpu also fx 4100 is not a good cpu do not consider amd until u can not afford fx 6300 anything below that can not compete even with i3
well lga 1155 is a dead socket intel has already released a new socket lga 1150
but amd steamroller might use am3+ but nothing is confirmed right now
corsair vs series is released only for places which have input range from 200-240 volts so u will not find any worthwhile review that is why i will avoid getting it get cx 430 with gtx 650 ti or hd 7790 it can be found cheaper
