What Properties Should I Look for in an SSD?

I'm trying to pick a ~256GB SSD for my first build, and I'm seeing things like 4KB Random Read/Write and Sequential Read/Write. I plan to use my SSD as a boot drive and to store a couple frequently-used games - which of these values should I be looking at when looking at benchmarks like the ones here?

I'm looking for an SSD that's at or under $190, and I was kind of looking at Plextor M5S, Samsung 840, and Corsair Neutron.

The random read speeds are what I look for, as I also use mine for frequently used games and, if the game is drawing off your SSD for info, it's able to read the info faster. The write speeds, while usually slower, just mean it will take a little longer for the game to be installed on that SSD than it would be for it to find the information that's written on it. So, yea, look at the read speeds. The Samsung 840 series are widely considered a great SSD. I have no experience with either of the other two. I personally use the Agility 3 from OCZ.
