Hello,
I did post a message on the forum last night but nobody answered aha so i shall try again.
Im building a pc and i will be buying the parts in a day or so when i know they are good enough.
The system i want will be for gaming, and i am thinking of over clocking it to.
so what i already have is os,case, odd, gpu, hdd.

i have had a look around, and this is what i have come up with, if you think i should change parts let me know even if you think im a total idiot and all the parts are wrong aha.

so this is what i have come up with so far.

[PCPartPicker part list](http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/1aqFb) / [Price breakdown by merchant](http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/1aqFb/by_merchant/) / [Benchmarks](http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/1aqFb/benchmarks/)

The DH14 has been shown to be equal or superior to the H100i, and in fact most closed-loop liquid coolers. The only two closed-loops I tend to suggest are the NZXT Kraken x60 and the Swiftech H220, which are both significantly more expensive.
Ram speeds over 1600mhz don't really have an impact on gaming, so there's no need to spend so much there.
Motherboards don't need to be massively expensive to be good, but you don't want to scrimp on them. The Extreme4 and Extreme6 are both efficient, excellent options.
Lastly, you don't need more than 550w unless you have a truly massive graphics card (talking Titan or 780, here), and no more than 650w is needed unless you have dual GPUs, in which case that 850w would be an entirely reasonable choice.

Hello jack,
thanks for your input, i forgot to mention i will be getting ram at 1600 but couldnt find the right one on part picker.
atm i have a 7870 and the psu im using atm is a ocr 500w.
plus are the noctua really that good? i have heard great things about them to be honest, but this may be a superficial and idiotic reason i just dont like the look of them, but if they are that much on an improvement i guess its best to get the better option.

If you only have a 7870, the 550w I recommend will be more than enough.
Noctua is really that good, I'm afraid. Not terribly great looking, I admit, but damn good performance. The Kraken x60 is a beauty with beastly power, however, if you're willing to pay for it (and you have a case which can support a 2x140mm radiator).

Edit: Another good option (though arguably the weakest of the bunch) is the Kraken x40, which is much cheaper than the x60, and, according to this article (http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/water2.0-extreme-kraken-x40-hydro-h90-elc120,3434-13.html) nearly as cool as the Noctua, though it's a heck of a lot louder.
