Hello everybody i know this is a common question but i dont seem to get it right.

I have 1x 4gb ram ddr3 and my mini-itx m/b has only 1 more slot so i was thinking about putting an extra 4gb ram so i will have 8gb plus it will be dual channel. BUT

Would I really see a difference in overall performance? games? video editing?


pc specs

i3 2100 3.1 ghz
4gb ram 1600mhz @ 1333
zotac gtx 650 ti
1tb hdd
antec BP 450w

Yes, you will see a little difference in gaming and a sufficient difference invideo editing, etc. BUT make sure you buy the same ram you already have in there. Also, would you mind listing your motherboard model so I can check it out just to make sure everything will go nice and dandy?
