Will Crysis 3 Work on Geforce 8400 gs

short answer it will but wont be fun to play at all, lowest resolution and your fps will be terrible, sorry

It will be a slide show. Not a game. Your going to need to spend at least $100 on a decent card to play that game on anything other than the lowest settings.
Im using a 8400gs right now on my work computer. Its great at running PPT and excel at the same time on 2 screens.

It will explode. No joke. Crysis 3 doesn't even support anything other than DX11 cards, so you're screwed there. My old as 8400 GS with no fan (Heatsink only) had everything on it pop when I wanted to see what happen when I tried running Battlefield 3 on it.

A Radeon 7770 would match your CPU more or less, but will still be pretty slow.
Here are the minimum specs you need
Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8
• DirectX 11 graphics card with 1Gb Video RAM
• Dual core CPU
• 2GB Memory (3GB on Vista)
8400 won't run it, it's not a DX11 part.
Get a Radeon 7770 (as long as your power supply and case can run it), need 4gb system RAM, and then you should be able to run Crysis 3 on lower settings.

No it won't work change u r gpu to GTX 650ti or HD7770 they're in budget if u dont want to spend much more for gpu if u r casual gamer then go for stock GTX650 or HD7750 they will fit in u r budget and for sure 8400gs is not a gaming card it supports sm4 which works for dx10 and crysis requirements r sm 5(shader model 5.0).so its better to change u r card and your 8400 will not burn dont worry u r pc will give you direct x error the game will not run on this specs.so there is no chances of burning ur gpu (unless u overclock it or some psu problems ).
