I was looking in the internet the ASRock Z77 Extreme4 and I saw this in the product info: "Supports NVIDIA SLI and AMD CrossFireX, Premium Gold Caps"

I just want to know what does it mean (Sorry if it is a stupid question, but its my first time building a computer, so im quite noob at this)

Solution
Yup. You can run 2 video cards in SLI if they are NVidia, or Crossfire if they are AMD cards.

The premium gold caps are capacitors with a metal can on them. If you look at the board all the little gold cylinders are the capacitors. Most quality motherboards use metal caps, but some of the less expensive boards use plastic and wrapped caps that are more likely to leak.

I have been using the extreme 4 for 8 months now with 2 gtx470s in SLI and 3 drives. Its a good board. I play a lot of games and push it pretty hard and so far its been great.
It means that the motherboard can support multi-GPU setup. Although, the ASRock Z77 Extreme4 can only support dual- and quad-GPU setup. It cannot support tri-GPU setup.

Premium gold caps just means that it is premium certified and that they're built to withstand higher temperatures.
