I just got a Zotac Geforce 470 for a good price and comes to find out the power supply in my computer doesn't match the requirements for the 470. The point where I get confused is that it says, "Minimum system power requirements based on a PC configured with an Intel Core i7 3.2 GHz processor". I have an Intel Q6600 2.4ghz. I am looking at a 650watt power supply with 30 amps on a single +12V rail. Any hope that it will even run the card?

If not, what other good below $30 power supplies for the right voltage are there?

Hi - It looks like you have a very old, or a very low quality PSU if it's amps +12v rail are only 30.
Most 650w PSU's avail +12v rail amps in the 50-54a range. Are you sure it has only 1 +12v rail?

Plz list the PSU brand & model so I can evaluate.

A system with that GPU needs a quality 550w unit with 38a(45 if you stress test) on +12v rail.
Which you won't finf for $30.
