HD6970 or HD7790, Hellp me to choose.

Really confused what to do. Which one is better HD6970 or HD7790?? Please tell me guys. and give me some proof of that.

If I get a 1.5yrs old HD6970 at INR 11k then is it a good deal or I should go for a new HD7790 at INR 11k. Both are 11k INR HD6970 will be 1.5yrs old and HD7790 will be new. Thank you

The 6970 will destroy the 7790 in terms of speed. The 6950 is about 16% faster than the 7790 and the 6970 is about 15% faster than the 6950. Not to mention the 6970 has 2GB of VRAM while the 7790 only has 1GB. This will help for pushing Higher Graphics Quality or Higher resolutions.

Only downside is that the 6970 consumes much more power at a TDP of 250W vs the TDP of the 7790 at 85W.

I have Corsair VS550. Which one will be good buy?? considering good ratio in between power and performance

Hmmm...Your PSU is big enough for the 6970, but how many PCI E connectors do you have? A 6970 requires both a 6 pin and a 8 pin.

I have 2 8pin PCI-E.
This are not the fact. I'm asking you should I buy HD6970 at 11K INR or go for the new HD7790? in 11K INR. Is the HD6790 gives the sufficient extra performance than HD7790 according to how much extra power it consumes than HD7790?
