LOL, ignore this. 2 minutes after I posted this I just by luck stumbled upon how to get RealTemp to auto shutdown.

Hi everybody,

I wanted to ask if anyone knows of a way to make your PC shutdown or hibernate automatically if the temps get too high.
I know that the CPU will throttle if it reaches TJ Max but I want something the will stop it if it reaches 80/85c.

I use RealTempGT and I noticed there is an option for an alarm to sound when the core temps hit whatever you set it to, and there's an option to run a .exe when this temp is reached. So is this an option, is there a way to get RealTemp to shut it down???

Would appreciate any input and advice.
Cheers

I think you would need to program your BIOS (If its not already programmed to do so) to shutdown when cpu heats up...
