I just bought the JBL CS6100BG High-Performance Complete 6-Piece Home Theater Speaker System and I want to connect to my laptop. The thing is I don't know how. In the back of the subwoofer there is only 3 jacks, 2 of the is the L and R that you put the bare speaker wire and then there is a jack called LFE. Is there a way to connect my subwoofer straight to my laptop without a receiver ??

This is the link to the manual

No you cannot, without any kind of amp to power the speakers. The laptop won't be able to power all of that. You don't need a receiver but an amp or DAC what has L/R and a SUB output should be able to.

However when looked at the manual attached. You'll need a receiver to power all of those.
