Need a gaming pc for £400-420

Hi everyone my friend has asked me to build him a gaming pc for £400-420. I have already got a spec in mind but would like to ask you guys if you can build something better with the money.

The only requirement he wants is that it has 2TB hard drive and windows 8. He also wants to play bf3 and newer games atleast on high settings with good framerates.

I was thinking of an AMD build with a hd6850 or similar as it is a lot cheaper :)

Maybe its old but its still a good graphics card, i play bf3 with hd6850 on ultra without AA on? what graphics card have you got then?

can we have your full build list please? I'm very impressed that you could get it all for so little.

I really doubt you can tick all of those boxes with a budget of £400. windows 8, yes, BF3 on high AND a 2TB hard drive? maybe not. what I'd suggest is to lay low on the ram and hard drive for now. get a single 4GB stick and a 500GB hard drive to start off with and when you get enough money then buy a large hard drive for whatever he/she wanted it for and an extra 4GB stick. if you splash the cash on the RAM and hard drive and buy a mediocre CPU and GPU because of cost cutting you'll find it very costly to upgrade them in future because you'll be buying 2 CPUs and 2 GPUs in the end, with adding ram and hard drives, you're ADDING, not replacing like you are with CPU/GPU/motherboard etc.
