Dear Tom's Hardware,
Forgive me for my ignorance if this cannot be done. But, here goes!
I am 21 and live with my Elderly grandmother my parents live in the apartment building next door. Roughly 700 - 1000FT with walls in the way. I have internet at my parents but not at my grandmothers and due to budget constrictions on a Student like myself.. I cannot afford the monthly cost of internet at my Grandmothers and she refuses to add anything to her AT&T bill. So, my question is. it there any antenna or range booster/WiFi-extender that I can buy that will at least get me 1 bar or more of internet from my parents.
Also, both me, my grandmother, my parents live in a apartment. So, putting a Satellite dish or huge antenna on the roof won't quite work.
But, we do have a balcony. of course. My luck, neither balcony's face each other.
