I am currently building a new system and was wondering which CPU should I get?

The 3570k, 3770K, or 3930K?

These games are what I play:
Flight Simulator X with PMDG 737NGX addon and Ultimate Traffic 2.
Mirror's Edge 1 and or 2
Fallout: New Vegas and Fallout 3
Max Payne 3
The Sim's 3
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and 3
Battlefield 3
Sonic Generations
Bus Cable Car simulator
Portal 1 and 2
and more...

so which one do you think would be good for these games and also which CPU would be good 3 years from now?

Well the 3570k is all you need for gaming right now, the 3770k is really only necessary if you need the hyperthreading for video editing and other professional applications, and the 3930 is just...overkill to say the least, but the 3930 would be your best bet for any type of future proofing.

3570K. Are you aware that Haswell cpu's are out now in s1150??

If your building a new computer, it doesn't make sense to go with a old socket, you want to go with the new socket, which is s1150.

It isn't really an "issue" they just run significantly hotter and don't OC quite as well as Ivy bridge, but that is due to its architecture being more....I want to say delicate or fragile but that would be incorrect. Basically they crammed more stuff into less space so it's not as easy to modify

got it! but since i am going to use flight sim which is a known resource hogger Would an ivy with a 4.6ghz air cooled overclock be easier to do then a haswell chip?

Edit: My new computer has a goal of great cooling!
