Question about Newegg shipping

Not sure if this is the right sub-forum, so I apologize if it needs to be moved. Anyways, I recently purchased the parts needed for a PC build, and the case has shipped but the parts have not. It's been one day since I received the notification that the case (Fractal R4) was on it's way, but I have not received an email on the status of the parts. Is it odd that the parts have not shipped even a day after the case has?

I'm not sure if his has anything to do with it, but the PSU that I ordered went out stock shortly after I ordered it, so I am not sure if perhaps it was out of stock before my order and they just hadn't updated their catalog yet, and my parts are being held bay because of the PSU not being available. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Nope, the case and the parts tend not to ship together, especially if they are coming out of different warehouses.

When i ordered my system my parts shipped out of New Jersey, but my case shipped out of California and arrived 2 days after everything else.


There is a reason shipping gives a window, it isn't precise, if you aren't outside the delivery window yet everything is still normal, sometimes it just takes an extra day or two to get things packed up, just be patient.

Have you looked at your account to see if it was invoiced? If it was invoiced it shipped, or is shipping today. The invoice will have the tracking number on it.

If the item was out of stock, you wouldn't have been able to order it.

Likely the case shipped form one warehouse and the parts shipped or are shipping from another.

Policy states up to 24hrs before items are shipped.
