SSD being eaten by pagefile and hiberfile

I only have a 128gb SSD and these 2 files are taking almost 30gb... Why are they so big? How can i fix this?

Simple. Disable hibernation and limit the size of the pagefile to only a couple GB (if you have enough RAM you can set the pagefile to zero, there will be NO impact on performance, I have mine like that and NO problems).

i have 16gb of ram, if i lower pagefile there will be no performance changes?? and how do i do this and disable hibernation?

Hibernation takes an amount equal to the RAM you have. Turn it off

From an elevated command prompt: powercfg -h off

Pagefile. As said above, turn it way down or off. I have mine set to 1024MB MIN and MAX.

With 16Gb of ram you should be able to disable the pagefile. I did in my rig and have yet to see a difference.

A caveat is if you use Windows 8, it starts from the hibernated state, even when starting from OFF. which is why it can start in 10 seconds with an SSD. If you turn off Hibernation, I think it negatively impacts startup speed.

Running Windows 8 Pro from a Kingston 128GB SSD, I have not noticed this. It starts quickly.
