I need a new PC mainly for gaming. I play mostly counter-strike but I am interested in BF4 when it comes out. The parts I have chosen are as follows;

Anything I should change? My limit is around $1,500 CAD including monitor and keyboard.

I'm not educated in OC but I hear it's a lot easier nowadays.

Everything is "last generation" and while there won't be much of a performance difference, it does bring ya 12-18 months closer to obsolescence.

You have a $355 MoBo / CPU combo based upon a $135 MoBo. Here's a current generation pairing with a $210 MoBo for just $15 more

MoBo - $370 - ASUS Z87 Pro http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.1352787
CPU - incl. w/ above - Intel Core i5-4670k Included w/ above and MoBo has built in wireless, $100 combo discount and $10 off w/ promo code Z87MB617, ends 6/30

You have a $230 pairing for case and PSU .... this is a significant upgrade on both counts for $5 more (500R + HX850)

$30 more gets you a significant upgrade to current generation technology. EVGA last two generations (Classified model uses custom PCB and VRM) has used stock PCB's with stock VRM's while competition from MSI, Gigabyte, and Asus all use custim PCBs w. VRM's having more phases for better overclocking.

17% faster for 8% price increase

Same price, RAM w/ better specs DDR3-1600

Looking at the reviews that just came out of the Geforce GTX 760 2GB that puts it on par with the GTX 670, I would honestly save the money and get that over the GTX 670. It has a lower idle power consumption, lower idle heat, overclocks great, and comes in a 4GB variant that is still less than the 670.

Either that or go for the 770 for a bit more like others have said.
