2 680s in sli or one 690

I'll be upgrading my cpu to i7-4770k. Mostly gaming and 3d part modeling, cnc machine rendering, CAD/CAM. Which would be better, a second 680 or a 690, and what's the least amount PSU wattage to obtain?
 
Most software that support GPU acceleration can only utilize 1 VGA, therefor it's better to settle with a GTX780 than both the options above. GTX780 is stripped down from a high-end workstation graphic card also, meaning it will give you greater performance with your pro software than even the GTX690. As for gaming performance, there's nothing to worry about unless you are running a triple monitor setup.

As for PSU, your current one will be sufficient.

its usually always better to go with a single dual gpu rather than two gpus in SLi. Both when it comes to heat and power efficiency. Id definetely suggest going with the 690. Though you should get the 780 instead since its about the same price I belive.
