P5LD2 Graphics cards

Motherboard is an ASUS P5LD2 ,I currently have a radeon X300/600/1050 series, Someone said to put in a GTS 450, I have nooo clue what i'm looking for because when I look it up comes up with ddr3 and ddr5 and mobo can only handle ddr2 plus its apparently got to be pcie, anyone have suggestions on cards and links so i know what i'm looking for, would be appreciated.

PSU is a 450W Powerlink, Which is probably an extremely cheap one, I currently play minecraft, and starcraft 2, sc2 is slightly laggy. all I've been told by some people is to put a GTS 450 or radeon 7000 in it in which case, I don't know of any of those being ddr2
