Howdy folks! I cant figure this one out. I have Win7 64 and is up to date. About a month ago while working on my computer the Aero effect went off by itself!!! Then it came back on! Then the "problems flag" came up and asked me to install my video card driver. Well, I did 2 days before! I updated it! So I went through the whole process again by deleting the old and putting in the new. After I went through the whole thing, that darn Problems flag is still there saying the same thing! But Aero is still working.

ANOTHER PROBLEM:
Im getting split second flashes across the screen now and again. It seems to be related to Adobe Flash and Shockwave.

ALSO:
I have IE10 and no matter WHAT I do I cant install Adobe Flash nor Shockwave. I go through the process of installing it BUT for some reason IE10 isnt recognizing it and sometimes YOUtube will work and other times it wont. I even went BACK to IE9 in hopes it will resolve the problem. Nope. Did nothing. Chrome works! Firefox works! But not IE.

So.... even though the new video card driver is installed, Windows doesnt see it. And even though Flash and Shockwave are installed, IE doesnt see them. And also the very quick flashing across the screen every so often no matter if its the desktop or any browser. I just cant figure this one out :(
Heeeeeelp!!!

Chrome works! Firefox works! But not IE.

So what is the problem ? :) I wish I could uninstall IE

I would uninstall, all the adobe stuff, uninstall the GFX drivers..... reboot dont ket windows install anything.... use ccleaner to clean out all reference to those drivers in registry .... reboot and install from vendor web sites ....again, dont let windows install anything
