I want an Intel i5-......
I am not sure which one to get. It is mostly for High end gaming.
I am not sure if I should go with the Haswell or just stick with IB. Is the i5-4670k worth it for a gaming pc?

GPU- Sapphire Radeon HD 7970 Ghz edition

My budget was $900 Max! My build exceeds $1000. If the haswell cpu is worth it then I dont mind going over my budget.

Not a huge upgrade with haswell, but if you wish to upgrade in the future the 1150 socket is definitely a better choice. If you are never going to upgrade, might I recommend an i7 ivy bridge?

2-3 years haswell might be outdated too. How much can you spend on a cpu?

only 200$ for an intel that isn't much. At 200 bucks i recommend an amd fx8350

what cpu do u have now?

well, let's say u have an i5-3570k or i5-2500k, then it's not worth upgrading to a haswell like i5-4670k. But if u have an i3, then u should upgrade to either a haswell(i5-4670k) which is 229$(i think) or the fx8350 which is 199$ if u are in a tight budget and want the best within 200$.
Let us know your thoughts. :)

I am building my first gaming pc.
I know I want to stick with intel. I am thinking about getting the i5-3570k or i5-2500k. Because people have been saying that the has well isnt worth the extra money or is it?

yeah the i5-3570k is worth the money ans the fx8350 is also worth the money.

1.i5-3570k-http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... (219$)
2.i5-4670k-http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... (239$)
3.i5-4570-http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... (199$)
4.fx-8350-http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

read this:
http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i5-4570-vs-AMD-FX-83...
the i5-4570 is better than the fx8350 in sinlgle thread performance but the 8350 blows the 4570 in mutithreaded apps and would O.C much more than the fx8350. therefore, the fx is a better option.
The i5-3570k is a much better option than the fx8350. the 3570k is worth the money and the haswell(4670k) is better but there is not such improvement.

U told that u want to go with intel, then i would recommend u the i5-3570k

Proud fx8350 owner as well. That cpu can handle anything!! Wayyy more future-proof from intel.
