I have an Alpine Sound Processor I just installed in my car, but the managing disc for it, won't run. I called Alpine Tech Support and they said that the program (Sound Management for PXA H800 v.2) is a 32 bit program. Is it possible to run it on my laptop w/ Windows 7HP 64 bit? I went to the Compatibility Wizard and tried using XP mode w/ Service Pack 2 and again w/ XP Service Pack 3 and also Vista, with no success. I have a Windows 7 PRO upgrade disc that I heard will allow me to run in XP mode, but I don't want to waste it, if it won't fix the problem. Can you help me figure this out? I have a $6k stereo that I can't listen to until I fix this issue. PLEASE, PLEASE help me! Thank You, Tom's!

A 32bit program should have no problems running on a 64bit copy of windows. Unless it has a 16bit installer. How far do you get? You did give it admin rights right? Try turning off UAC? How old is this program? Alpine should be able to help you better...
