Hey, I just got my WD Blue 1Tb and I plugged it in, SATA III and the power. nI started my pc and it suddenly started to install some drivers marked under WD-some random letter and numbers. Then it prompted me to reboot, so I did. Then when it came back on, I checked to see if it was there (Windows-Key+E) and nothing, just my SSD. Have I done something wrong or is the product just faulty?
Or perhaps I forgot something?
Anyways I have no idea, help is always appreciated.

Solution
If it is seen by DISK MGMT (diskmgmt.msc) than go to Disk Management and select the Hard Drive on the Physical Driver section ---> Properties ---Hardware-->Properties--> Driver ---> and Uninstall the drivers.

Then Go To device Manager ---> and scan for new Hardware ---> it will recognize the Hard Drive and re-install it's drivers making it show up again!

It does not get detected by diskmgmt. Only my SSD and something labeled REserved for System which is 100MB

Wait... I went far into the OS and got it to appear, then followed the advice. Thanks.
