Hi. I have the Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3 Motherboard. On my box (ordered from newegg) It says it has 2 x16 PCI Express Slots, And also on Gigabyte's website it says it has 2 x16 slots. But..On my actual motherboard one slot says x16 and the other says x4 (labeled next to the slot). Can someone confirm what it actually has? It is the Revision 3.0, So I know i'm looking at the exact model. Also, Im running a Sapphire HD 7770 GHz edition in the slot I know is x16. If I get another 7770, and put it in the other slot (assuming the worst, it is x4) will performance be much worse than if it was another x16? What would my performance increase to? Of course on double but close. 30%? 40%? I mainly play games like BF3, FarCry3, GTA4, And a few others. I also plan on playing BF4, And GTA5. Would the x4 slot really impact performance? 5-10% isn't a big deal. I know the motherboard is PCI-EXPRESS 2.0, NOT 3.0. On older gen cards (looked at a test on the forums) performance on certain games wasn't too bad in the x16, x4 setup compared to x16, x16 but this card is way different that the 8800GT they were testing (or whatever it was). And also...Would Buying Another 7770 for $100 be a better choice than buying a GTX 770? Obviously the GTX card would kick the 7770 Crossfire Config's Ass, But at the same time..It's $300 cheaper? How much of a performance difference would there be between the Crossfire and the GTX card? And also, What would you do? Do you think a 7770 Crossfire would be able play BF4 on High/Ultra? I heard 7770 Crossfire is about performance of a GTX 660. Anyways this is getting long. Anyone who read this thanks. Any DETAILED responses that don't say "yeah thats good" or "do it" would be greatly appreciated.
