About a month ago, i installed my SSD, with a fresh new install of Windows in AHCI mode. I installed Magician, and everything was fine and Magician detected the SSD in AHCI mode too.

Recently i checked magician again, and it dosent seem to detect my SSD proberly... It works fine, but it says AHCI is deactivated?

I just checked the BIOS, its enabled.... I tried reinstall Magician with no luck...

What do i do? Please help. :)

Check in "Device Manager" under your disk controllers if you have one that mentions "AHCI". But if your BIOS is set to AHCI, Windows has no choice to run into AHCI otherwise it wouldn't be able to boot if the AHCI driver isn't running. This is not something that turns itself on and off by itself, if you switch to another mode than AHCI you'd probably get a blue screen anyways. After Windows is installed you need a registry tweak if you want to load a different driver (IDE or ATA).

I'm 99% sure you're currently running into AHCI. It's probably a bug in the Magician interface so I wouldn't be too paranoid about this. Or you could try with another software than Magician.

Best thing to do would be to contact Samsung or post on the Samsung forum, you'll probably get better answers there.
