Hello forum,

I am having this "Problem" (if we can call it that), I have MSI GTX 660 Ti and it only has one DVI-VGA port other ones are for HDMI screens, the thing is I have 2 VGA monitors and I really can't buy new HD screen right now, I want to set them up somehow. I've heard about that cable that converts HDMI to DVI that will give me visual setup BUT can I do it without this cable?

I have Asus P8Z77-LX motherboard and it has 2 screen ports, one DVI one VGA.
Can I use both graphics cards for dual screen setup?
Can I plug the other screen into my motherboard and have both screens up and active?

I also have old GT9800, I can put it into my motherboard next to my GTX 660 Ti will that work? (mobo has 2 slots for SLI/Crossfire)

I DON'T want two video cards to work in SLI (please keep this in mind until you tell me that I'm stupid and 2 different cards can't work in sli, I know that :D)

Any help will be appreciated, thank you very much.

Have a good day.

Your motherboard disables the integrated when you plug a vga card into one of the pci slots. An adapter costs a couple bucks. Just buy it. Shocked your card didn't come with a vga to dvi adapter. My last 2 cards came with one.

it came with DVI - VGA adapter, I have 5 actually I'm not lacking that, it's just my GTX 660 Ti has only ONE dvi-VGA port, the other one is for DVI that connects to HDMI slot (DVI-D DVI-I i think that's what their names are...)

is there any way to activate integrated graphics card?

What about the GT 9800 ? can I have 2 different cards running two different screens at the same time?
