I'm looking to upgrade my motherboard to eventually handle a better graphics card and processor, that still works with my current one in the meantime. The current motherboard is a Pegatron AAHD2-HY 9.6'x9.6'. If it helps my CPU is an Intel i5 2400 @ 3.1 GHz and the graphics card is the one that come with the PC, an Intel HD Graphics 1000 (GT1), although I'd like to eventually run good games on high/max.

SUMMARY
So suggestions for a good board for gaming that will work with my current CPU and graphics card until I upgrade them as well.

Thanks in advance

uhm... something is wrong in here... if you are trying to say that you have an integrated gpu it is intel hd2000. and you dont have a dedicated gpu. shown in here
http://ark.intel.com/products/52207

but if you have a visible/touchable/working/dedicated gpu it shouldnt be intel lol

anyways. you probably have to upgrade your gpu along with the mobo. the cpu is well equipped to run current games anyway.

so for a non overclocking version and a good gpu which runs fast and flawless enough for todays gaming needs... here we go!

You are probably going to run into another issue, I believe that motherboard is used by OEM's (likw HP). If it is, your operating system is tied to the motherboard & a new one will mean you need to buy a new OS.

Good guess on the manufacturer, and I didn't even consider that. I'm running win 7 64 bit home premium at the moment if that makes a difference, but even then it's not much to buy another copy of that
