Intel Core 2 Quad Processor Q9400 and Gigabyte GeForce GTX 650 TI Boost 2GB DDR5 PCI-E. Would it be ok? I wish I could play BF3 on good settings with this card and cpu.

You should be able to play Battlefield 3 on High with that set up, a lot of factors involved, but 650 ti boost is a decent little card, and the core 2 quad is no slouch :-)

Personally, I'd upgrade the CPU.

The GTX 650 Ti Boost isn't great either, it's good, but not great - try for a GTX 660.

Agreed with above. It's time to upgrade that Q to something more powerful

Even an i3 would be quite an improvement over that Q, and not too expensive :)

If you don't have the budget to upgrade the CPU/motherboard just yet, just get the GTX 650ti Boost or Radeon HD7850.

Yes, it will.

What's your current GPU?

take amd fx 6300 if you would overclock and core i3-3220 if you dont have a better psu. In case of graphic card dont take that one instead take the gtx 660 . Its far better than gtx 650ti boost and only a bit expensive from what you are buying.

Hmm, definitely upgrade the GPU first then :p

If you're going to play BF3 mostly, stick with Nvidia, although I'd recommend a GTX 660 - it's not much more expensive than the 650 Ti Boost.

Yes, it will.

And well, Nvidia are better for BF3, but the HD 7850 is better than the GTX 650 Ti Boost.

If you can only afford the GTX 650 Ti Boost, get the HD 7850 instead, as you're playing other games as well.

If you can afford something a bit more expensive, get the GTX 660 instead, as it's better than the 650 Ti Boost and the 7850.

Your CPU should do about as good as some Athlon II X4's and that's not so bad really. The GTX 650 ti boost would be a great match for your processor. Also.. What kind of power supply do you have? The GTX 650 ti boost doesn't use a whole lot of power but that's still an important thing to look at whenever you upgrade your graphics card.

Edit... After seeing this "I have Asus Radeon 4870 DDR5 1gb" Don't worry about the power supply. You will be fine.
