Hello,
When I build my new computer, this is what I plan on using:
My Build:
- CPU: i7-3770k
- CPU Cooler: Cooler Master hyper 212 EVO
- Motherboard: MSI Z77A-G45 ATX
- Memory: (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Corsair Vengeance 16GB
- SSD: Samsung 840 Pro 128GB
- HDD: Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB 7200RPM
- Case: Cooler Master Storm Scout II Mid
- Power: Cooler Master eXtreme Power Plus 500W
Monitor:
- Two 23" Dell monitors
Programs/Games I use:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Speed Grade
- Cinema 4D
- 3Ds Max
- Battlefield Games
- Call of Duty Games
Option #1
- Go with the Sapphire 7970 3GB for $330 + $30 for 600W power (500 is barely enough in this case) = $360
Option #2
- Go with the ASUS GeForce GTX 670 4GB Edition = $400
Option #3
- Go with the MSI GeForce GTX 670 2GB ($305) and Sli an Asus GTX 650 2GB to it ($130) + + $30 for 600W power (500 is barely enough in this case) = $465
Basically, is Radeon only better with dual monitor because the have more GBs in them? Which in that case the 670 4GB would work well with dual monitor? Or do I need two GeForce graphics cards to work well with dual monitor?
I favor GeForce because it generally works better with the programs I use, but now that im using dual monitors, im wondering what I have to do inorder to make GeForce work well, or if I shouold just go with Radeon...
