Hello everyone i planned to get a new video card : GTX 760 , but this vga requires to be put in to a motherboard with pci x16 3.0.
The question is : This vga can run 100%(no bottleneck) on a motherboard with pci x16 2.0?..My motherboard is Asrock n68c-gs FX.

More about : gtx 760 pci

A slight bottleneck; PCI-E 2.0 x16 only supports 5 GHz memory clock and the GTX 760 has 6,008 GHz, you won't notice much of a difference anyway. :)

http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/Everything-You-N... - Look in the bottom and you will see the difference between all the PCI-E lanes.

Does it mean there is no use in overclocking gtx 760 memory on pci 2.0?

I have been told that the memory speed has nothing to do with PCIe clock. And I found people confirming that on other forums. I am quite confused right now.
