I was thinking that but I want to keep it for atleast 2 years with mostly max settings and games are starting to push over that 2gb mark

If you really want to be that much future-proof then I guess this one suits you better -

http://pcpartpicker.com/part/sapphire-video-card-1003516gvxsr

Its from ATI and is head to head with GTX 770 (5% weaker. Difference is not noticeable) and has 6 GB Video RAM.
In this deal you also get 4 free games worth $160 (All are demanding new titles).

Personally I would go for Nvidia here as VRAM does not make much difference here. A 4 GB GTX 650 can be beaten by a 2 GB HD 7870 XT.

What about http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-video-card-gvn770oc4gd I want to try out nvidia before 8*** or maxwell (or maxwell reboot)

Get 4 GB if you want to run multi-monitor setup. Otherwise 2 GB VRAM is more than enough. :)

Personally I would say get the 4 GB variant if its available to you. It has limited availability but still .. just for satisfaction and to show off a little. :D

I hate choosing a gpu lol or any thing I am gonna upgrade my computer with it's as hard as choosing a paint color for a room XD

P.S what's gonna be funny is if my friend pays me back the money he owes me I'll be able to get a gtx 780 and the last week of me doing lots of research was useless

Oh well, GTX 770 can max out almost all of the games out there so there is no need for GTX 780 here.
That card is kind of overpriced with around 15% performance improvement.

I would say, go for GTX 770 and if you have more money later on, buy another one and SLI it. ^^
