It's as weird as it sounds...

I have a 6 month old (but not really used) 16 GB Sandisk SDHC memory card. If I put it into my digital camera, or camcorder, it detects the card and will write to it.

If I put the card into my MacBook Pro, OSx can use the card fine.

NO Windows computers (even Windows on the bootcamp, on the same MacBook Pro) will recognize it. If I attempt to open disk management, the window stays on "connecting to virtual disk service" until I take the card out. Then the disk manager proceeds as normal.

The issue is NOT the format of the card - using the Mac, I have formatted it into every file system possible, with the same results.

So, it's over to you guys - how do I get Windows to recognize and use my card? I'm really grateful for any and all help!

Yes I have seen your pic. Windows need to know the drive letter, that is what causing you the trouble. Ok, can it be seen on Device Manager. If so than right click it-->properties-->driver-->uninstall driver. Than in device manager-->scan for new hardware under the "action" tab. Than it will search for it and install the driver automatically and you should see it on my computer. See how it works. If needed you can than try the aforementioned method.

Or, if you want it anyway. Data recovery software.

In my opinion, it may be caused by the different card file system. In fact, sometimes, the Mac card file system (HFS+) often cannot be recognized under Windows OS. So, if you want to make this memory card be read/write normally on Windows computers, you need to format it into Windows file system (FAT32 and NTFS). In addition, nowadays, the FAT32 file system often can be read by both of Windows and Mac OS. So, if your computer allows, you could try to format it into FAT32 file system.
Note: Before the formatting, you'd better plunge back this memory card to your Mac and back up your inner data well in case of data loss.

If this way really cannot resolve your problems, just restore back your data by using a data recovery program and replace it for future use.
Note: As to the data recovery software, you'd better opt for a most proper one after searching on the internet.
